CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The planning committee for the 2025 AFCU Symposium invites administrators, faculty, staff, students, and sponsors to submit presentation, poster, or art proposals for the upcoming annual symposium to be held June 5-7, 2025, at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The 2025 AFCU Symposium invites you to celebrate the profound and enduring legacy of St. Francis’ “Canticle of the Creatures.” This year’s conference will focus on the concepts of stewardship, service, and peacemaking as they relate to our own care of the environment, its creatures, and each other.  We invite proposals for break-out sessions, poster presentations, and artwork that investigate the themes from “Canticle of the Creatures” in various ways, from theoretical to practical, and that encourage rich discussions of the educational and social applications in both curricular and co-curricular areas on participants’ respective campuses.  Please join us in honoring the beauty and wisdom of St. Francis’ vision and help us explore the ways these timeless ideas can inspire and transform our educational communities.
